  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. Sacred Games’ Elnaaz Norouzi Strips To Support Iran Protests

Actress and model Elnaaz Norouzi, who hails from the Islamic Republic of Iran, has expressed her support for the ongoing anti-hijab protests in Iran.

On Tuesday, she took to her Instagram account and shared a video in which she could be seen stripping herself semi-naked as a mark of protest. In the video, she took off her Hijab (headscarf to cover hair) and other clothes. She started the video wearing a burqa and proceeded to remove the clothes. She captioned the video, "Every Woman, anywhere in the world, regardless of where she is from, should have the right to wear whatever she desires and when or wherever she desires to wear it."She said that she isn’t promoting nudity with her video but only promoting freedom of choice.

She also revealed that she too had an encounter with the Iranian morality police in the country. She reportedly said, “What happened to Mahsa Amini, that morality police captured her on the roads, this happened to me too in Tehran. This happens to women every day.”

She said, "I went to this 're-education centre’ and they made me write my name. Then they tell you 'if we catch you again with the wrong type of clothing, it won't be this easy.'"

The protests erupted across Iran after the death of a 22-year-old Iranian-Kurdish woman, identified as Mahsa Amini. She was pronounced dead on September 16, days after the morality police detained her last month for not properly covering her hair with a Hijab.

After her funeral, the biggest protests in three years erupted in various cities and districts of Iran. From workers to students, everyone participated in protests.

Iran imposed a conditional ban on the internet due to protests, because of which many protesters are only able to talk to their families at night through texts.
